
Clark Safari and Adventure Park

- Trail length: The hike to the crater lake is about 7 to 10 kilometers one way.
- Time: The hike can take about 1.5 to 2 hours to complete.
- Difficulty: The trail is relatively easy with gentle inclines and several light river crossings.
- Gear: It’s recommended to wear appropriate footwear, such as waterproof boots or sandals. Hiking poles or walking sticks are also recommended when crossing the creeks.
- Tours: There are guided tours available that include a 4×4 ride to the jump-off point for the trek.
- Mount Pinatubo is an active stratovolcano.
- The crater lake is home to turquoise waters.
- The color of the water changes from blue green to deep blue depending on the season.
- The landscape is filled with unique lahar formations and boulders.
- The area is home to the Aeta people.

What To bring with You
Sun Cream
The most ideal shoes are crocs or something similar as you will be crossing small streams on the trek.
Hat (wide brimmed)
Small Backpack
Lots of snacks, an energy bar for the hike. The earliest you can have the optional lunch is at roughly 1.30 pm, on the guided tour.
Sunglasses
Lots of drinking water (3 litres)
Towel and clothes for changing into after using the optional extra shower facilities at Mt Pinatubo Spa.
Identification as proof of age for the hike.
Minimum of 8 years old and a maximum of 60 years old on the longer hike. All guests are required to present identification as proof of age.
Hired Van or Private Car Tour agency Pickup.
You can ask your hotel to arrange a tour company tp pick you up, or hire a van for you or can search the web for van or car rentals or if you wish full service companies to the Mount Pinatubo Trekking tour. It takes about two hours from Angeles City
Mount Pinatubo Trekking Tips
1: Wear light and comfortable clothes that are okay to get wet and have a change of cloths as well or that are waterproof .
2: The proper footwear is very important also, reef shoes, crocs or any type of waterproof footwear is recommended.
3: Having a water proof bag to put your valuables (i..e. ID, money, wallets ) in to keep dry and safe.
4: Remember for those who sunburn easily and even for those who do not, to apply sun block before starting off.
5: Remember to bring along mosquito repellent to be applied before the tour.
6: Try to bring refillable btls for your beverages instead of plastic, what you bring in please bring back out.
7:Remember your safety is a top concern.
